CNC Laser Operator

Staff365 are recruiting for a CNC Laser Operator on a permanent basis for our manufacturing client located in Barnsley.

Hours of work:

Day and Afters shift weekly rotation

• Days 06:00-14:30 Mon – Friday
• Afters 14:00 – 00:00 Monday – Thursday

Salary: Weekly Paid 40 hour week

• £13.79 – 14.45 on Day shift
• £18.39 -£19.31 on nights

Duties to include;

• Operate CNC press brake, laser cutter, and punch machines safely and efficiently in line with company policies and procedure.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate parts accurately.
• Perform set-up and calibration of machines to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to uphold machine performance and product quality.
• Monitor machine performance, including tool wear and quality control, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production standards

Experience required;

• Strong experience in operating at least one of the following CNC machines: press brake, CNC laser, or CNC punch.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate components.
