HSE Manager

Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced HSE Manager on a permanent basis for our client located in Doncaster.

Hours of work: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Salary : £42,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory Regulations, and maintain an up-to-date awareness of future legislation advising the business on any impact.
• Carry out COSHH Risk Assessments
• Carry out Fire Risk Assessments
• Ensure company compliance with regard to the CE marking of equipment.
• Prepare, maintain and implement all safe-working procedures
• Ensure that all Environmental and Health and Safety training and development needs are identified and continually carried out.
• Carry out Accident Investigations
• Carry out regular Health & Safety workshop Inspections, monitoring completion of open actions.
• Maintain and update the Health and Safety Training Matrix.
• Monitor Health & Safety performance within the organisation against KPI’s and targets.
• Maintain and update the Environment (ISO 14000) and Health and Safety (ISO 45001) Management Systems
• Establish and maintain working procedures for normal, abnormal and emergency Environmental situations
• Attend and contribute to monthly EHS Meetings

Skills and requirements

• GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
• NEBOSH qualified or other relevant qualification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Health & Safety experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good time management skills
• Adaptability/Flexibility
• Experience of manufacturing/Logistics industry (Desirable)
• Knowledge of ISO Management Systems (Desirable)
• Full driving licence and own transport
