Inventory Controller

taff365 are recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller for our client located in Rotherham.

Salary £30,000 plus occasional overtime (Weekly pay)

Shifts: Monday to Friday- 2 Shift rotation (Days and Afternoons )

(Please note that this may change to a rotating shift pattern depending upon the needs of the business)

Location: Rotherham

This exciting opportunity gives the ideal candidate a chance to be part of a growing new team and be involved in the implementation and upkeep of an existing stores facility.

Duties of the Inventory controller include but are not limited to:-

• – Help build our Stores section of the Computerised Maintenance Management System
• – Monitoring and replenishing stock.
• – Picking, checking and accurate counting of parts.
• – Responsible for checking products to ensure correct parts are assigned to the correct jobs.
• – Processing and updating purchase orders on the businesses bespoke system.
• – Following up on all orders via the order process, liaising with customers and drivers regarding stock and delivery timescales.
• – Check returned items are intact and not damaged and report any damages to/or defective materials and equipment.
• – Comply with all company guidelines to ensure the company achieves the required level of quality standards.
• – Ensure stores cleanliness at all times.

Skills Required

• – Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft and other computer programmes.
• – Ability to adapt to a changing environment and contribute to business growth.
• – Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written.
• – Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• – Willingness to learn and progress.
• – Flexible to work overtime during busy periods
