Machine Operator

Staff365 are recruiting for a number of experienced Machine Operators for our customer based in Tankersley, Barnsley.

We are seeking experienced individuals who are looking for that new and exciting opportunity to join a market leading brand and be part of a successful team.

These roles are on a 12 week Temp – Perm basis providing you successfully pass the probation period.

• Pay Rate: £13.75 – £17.75 DOE

Summary of the role:

Flexibility in terms of working and being trained in different areas of the factory is essential.

As a CNC operator, your duties are to include;

Choosing right settings for bespoke products

Working with another team member to lift doors onto a CNC machine to be cut to size.

Measuring and quality checking doors to ensure quality is maintained throughout the production process.

General housekeeping of the factory and tidying up between machine cycle times. e.g sweeping up, air hosing the work station and removal of rubbish.

Filling and sanding of any defects or imperfections with the door.

Please note this job as a CNC Operator requires you to be stood on your feet for up to 8 hours a day between break times and a strong level of fitness is required due to the nature of the product.
