Maintenance Engineer

Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis for our new manufacturing client located in Rotherham.

Salary £40,000 + overtime

Hours of work; Shift work Monday – Friday

Overtime paid at 1.5 after 37.5 hours and weekly paid.

Duties will include:-

• Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain job completion records through their cloud-based system, with an understanding of using tablets.
• Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner and to our partners’ high standards.
• Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.

Skills / Experience required:-

• Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs.
• 17th or 18th edition
• Minimum of 2 years work experience as either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met.
• Solid background of working within either a Manufacturing, Engineering or FMCG background
• Forward and methodical thinker.
• Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them.
