Plant Fitter

Staff365 are recruiting for a Plant Fitter on a permanent basis for our client located in Barnsley.

Salary: £18.00 per hour

Hours of work: 08:00-16:00 – Monday – Friday

Responsibilities;

• Ensure all plant and equipment on site is maintained and fit for purpose
• Communicate with the Yard Manager & Senior Management about the condition of mechanical and electrical equipment and related production issues.
• Manage any contract labour involved in maintenance activities on site.
• Support the planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Assist in other relevant maintenance work as required.

Experience required;

• Experience with various welding techniques.
• Experience supervising or managing external contractors
• Familiarity with relevant Health and Safety Legislation
