Stock Controller
Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Stores/Stock Controller for our client located in Rotherham.
Salary £30,000 plus occasional overtime
Shifts: Monday to Friday- 2 Shift rotation (Days and Afternoons )
(Please note that this may change to a rotating shift pattern depending upon the needs of the business)
Location: Rotherham
This exciting opportunity gives the ideal candidate a chance to be part of a growing new team and be involved in the implementation and upkeep of an existing stores facility.
Duties of the stock controller include but are not limited to:-
- – Help build our Stores section of the Computerised Maintenance Management System
- – Monitoring and replenishing stock.
- – Picking, checking and accurate counting of parts.
- – Responsible for checking products to ensure correct parts are assigned to the correct jobs.
- – Processing and updating purchase orders on the businesses bespoke system.
- – Following up on all orders via the order process, liaising with customers and drivers regarding stock and delivery timescales.
- – Check returned items are intact and not damaged and report any damages to/or defective materials and equipment.
- – Comply with all company guidelines to ensure the company achieves the required level of quality standards.
- – Ensure stores cleanliness at all times.
Skills Required
- – Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft and other computer programmes.
- – Ability to adapt to a changing environment and contribute to business growth.
- – Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written.
- – Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- – Willingness to learn and progress.
- – Flexible to work overtime during busy periods
