Stores Person

Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Stores / Inventory controller for our new client located in Rotherham.

This exciting opportunity gives the ideal candidate a chance to be part of a new team and be involved in the implementation and upkeep of a new stores facility.

Role: – Stores / Inventory Person

Permanent position with the company from day one

Shifts: – Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

(Please note that this may change to a rotating shift pattern depending upon the needs of the business)

Pay Rate: £15.00 phr plus overtime and shift allowance (weekly paid)

Location: – Rotherham

Duties include but are not limited to:-

• Help build our Stores section of the Computerised Maintenance Management System
• Loading and unloading stock.
• Monitoring and replenishing stock.
• Picking, checking and accurate counting of parts.
• Responsible for checking products to ensure correct parts are assigned to the correct jobs.
• Processing and updating purchase orders on the businesses bespoke system
• Packaging items sufficiently to ensure any parts sent to customers or returned to manufacturers can be posted and arrive undamaged
• Following up on all orders via the order process, liaising with customers and drivers regarding stock and delivery timescales.
• Check returned items are intact and not damaged and report any damages to/or defective materials and equipment.
• Comply with all company guidelines to ensure the company achieves the required level of quality standards.
• Ensure stores cleanliness at all times.

Skills Required

• Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft and other computer programmes.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and contribute to business growth.
• Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and progress.
